Soft Baby Rattles

This is a soft baby rattle made with natural linen and cotton printed fabric. Ideally made for babies who are developing the palmer grasp! This rattles has a small bell inserted to make a soft sound when shaking in the air while holding and babies LOVE that.

Curiosity will leads to exercise the hands and to develop the palmer grasp. This is made with linen and can be toss with your laundry. To ensure its long life I would recommend you to run it in a gentle cycle.

The bright cotton fabric will add a flair to your rattle collection. This is a very simple toy to help develop your littleones curiosity.

Thank you

Primary Colors (Gobbi) Mobile with a New look!

I was playing with this idea for a while. I love introducing new items to my shop in FALL. This FALL I am introducing my newest mobile Primary Colors (Gobbi) Mobile.
I decided to continue with the Gobbi Mobile style using primary colors. I experimented this and gave away  few as gifts and the new moms LOVED it. I hope you will like this new mobile as much as I did making it. I had fun creating this.
Now, here is something to keep in your mind. This is not in the A-I training, this is something I experimented and fell in LOVE with.
This is a simple mobile and its goal is to introduce the primary colors to your baby. It adds a fun element to your nursery. I decided to hang all three balls to the same length.
This can be hung about 13 -14 inches above your baby for kicking and bating. I am sure this will amuse your baby’s interest and intellect. This item is made with the same materials which was use to make the Gobbi Mobile.

Thank you for stopping by.

How to choose a bib?

Why it is necessary to use bibs? One it will reduce the amount of time you need to change your newborn's outfit each time you feed from spits and spills as a new mother.

When should I use bibs? From birth onwards each time you feed the baby. So you get the hang of using a bib. Your newborn will calm or sooth him/herself me knowing that you are gathering the bib/putting the bib on him/her with meal time.

Did the size matter? Yes, start with newborn bibs which is smaller but has a super absorbency strength. Depending your newborn. IF your newborn is spitting a lot better to have a high absorbency material. As the baby gets older you need to have a bigger bib to cover the upper torso.

Can a bibs help to understand your toddlers eating habits? Yes, if your toddler is done he/she may take the  bib off to indicate he/she does not want to eat more. Take this cue seriously.

How can I help my toddler playing with the bib? This is perhaps your first learning curve in other words understanding your demanding toddler. Listen and make sure when he/she says that he/she is not interested in food it is gone until next meal time. making communication clear and setting grind limits early on.

What to look for a bib? Super absorbency, easy to put on and take off may be with some control for parents who like to have that control, super coverage/protection for undergarments, and finally for toddlers may be a conversational subject.

Lastly enjoy your meal time with your newborn and toddler.

Yes we are in Business...

As a small shop owner I have struggle to make business cards at home. I really wanted the professional look but I could not afford the big price tag. I have tried many ways. I print them at home did not like the finish product.

I even tried at STAPLES paid a huge price tag comparing other expenses I do but not totally happy. I finally found this beautiful company that prints beautiful business cards. I was able to upload up one hundred images. Yes, that was a lot but totally worth.

Because I received my first order yesterday I am totally in love with it. I might do my second order for my personal blog because it is that cool.  One hundred images gives me so many options. I might have a hard time handing them out first. They are fun to work with and the service was super fast.

So I am sharing Moo with you as well. If you decided to print your own business cards take a look at them. I am sharing you the code so if you place your first order you get 15% off from your first total order.

Get fifteen percent off your first order by entering this code at the checkout. Here is the code 2RB2CK
Have fun they are truly amazing and very budget friendly.

100 Up!

This all started when my lovely daughter Nicolette was born. I was happy to stay home to take care of her. I did everything possible with Montessori. When I was talking to the community mothers I understood that many people did not know about Montessori or the products.

When they saw my daughter was playing with the beads some ask where did you get these. I simply told them I made these by myself and not only that one afternoon I showed them how to make it as well.

Few suggested that I should sell them. I was pondering on this idea but did not know how to do it. Very close friend suggested to why do’t you look into ETSY.

Well with that word grew a whole new PROSPECT! I took pictures of the topponcino my daughter used and the covers I used for my daughter.

If you look closely you can see the wrinkles. I did not have the heart to change my original pictures yet. Even though I have added many for my shop.

Well, I have completed 100 SALES at this point and I am truly thankful to my CUSTOMERS you made it possible for me to do this. It is a huge accomplishment for me.
Thank you!

How To Drop That Post-Baby Weight

“Katie Moore has written and submitted this article. Katie is an active blogger who discusses the topics of, motherhood, children, fitness, health and all other things Mommy. Having a baby is one of the most wonderful experiences in a mother's life. Unfortunately, it's not unusual for new mothers to have extra weight that needs losing after having a baby. Simply returning to a normal diet and lifestyle should normalize your weight again eventually, but many people don't want to wait so long. Rest assured with the right knowledge and the motivation, it won't be hard or take very long to become fit as a whistle once again.

Speak to Your Doctor
Just as you asked your doctor plenty of questions regarding delivery preparations while you were pregnant, like pain management and umbilical cord blood banking, consult your doctor regarding exercise preparations. You don’t want to further delay your recovery or your weight loss goals by injuring yourself or delaying returning to “normal”.
Start Walking
Walking is one of the most beneficial, yet often overlooked, forms of exercise available to us. It works almost every part of the body, benefits posture, and is gentle on the joints, unlike jogging or running. It's also great for the digestion, whose optimal functioning promotes a healthier metabolism. Another reason to get your exercise in by walking is that it's completely free--you could do it on an expensive treadmill, but if you are able, covering distance on the ground has actually been found to give more benefits.
Strength Training
This is a more strenuous form of exercise, so a doctor's clearance should be given before beginning a strength-training regimen. You don't necessarily need weights or a gym to do strength training--you can build muscle and burn fat at home by doing pushups, pull-ups, and body weight squats and lunges. If you get bored with those exercises, you can find lots of other varieties that train different sets of muscles. The key when strength training, whether with weights or with your own body, is to take rest periods of a few days between workouts. Otherwise you could end up suffering from symptoms of overtraining such as fatigue, lower hormones and reduced immunity to illness.

Eat A Healthy and Sustainable Diet
Instead of going on a crash diet that will cause you to lose muscle, fat and also leave your hormones in the gutter, plan a diet you can sustain. This diet shouldn't leave you dissatisfied, but should contain little or no sugar and should include plenty of fruits and vegetables. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day also helps keep your metabolism at its peak so you're burning fat all the time. Consuming spicy foods will raise your body temperature, causing a significant increase in metabolism. Spicy foods also promote digestive regularity, which some women have problems with after pregnancy.

Give Those Calories to Baby
Breastfeeding is great for your baby as long as you follow a nutritious, adequate diet. It's also great for you, since breastfeeding passes along as much as 500 calories each day to baby. Some also say that staying on a breastfeeding regimen for a few months can keep you slim for good!
By getting into a good routine it won't be too hard to drop the weight you put on during pregnancy. After awhile, you may even look better than ever before. The main thing is to be sure your lifestyle changes are sustainable.
Thank you,
